George Marshall of Climate Outreach Information Network talks about climate change and societies response.
In this video, we confront the skeptics who believe that Global Warming is nothing more than a hoax. It’s time to face reality and realize that no matter what these ’skeptics’ claim, the planet is in crisis and we all need to do our part to making it become a hospitable place for future generations to come.
As this video goes to show, members of the media appear to be receiving funding from oil companies and other advertisers to cover up the truth regarding the global warming issues. It’s as if the media denies that humanity is completely responsible for the effects of global warming. The following video confirms this:
It’s time to take action against the cover ups and outrageous lies by media channels that we are suppose to depend on for truthful news. Let your voice be heard by calling Fox News and sharing your outrage on the lies and scandals they provide regarding the issues of global warming. Together, we can all make a difference.
This video shows the true threat of global warming. News-On-Global-Warming.com wants to be considered as your resource for news on global warming. Together, we can make a difference and prevent this catastrophe before it gets worse.
Please show this video to as many people as possible so we can battle this threat before it’s too late.
It’s obvious that no one is a stranger to global warming. After all, it’s on the television, the radio, the Internet, local newspapers and more. Many of us may come to say: “I’ll let some one else worry about it.”
The truth of the matter is that the threat of global warming can only be averted through the cooperation of the planet’s entire population. This is everyone’s problem. Measures need to be taken to ensure that we meet this problem dead on as there will be no second chances.
As much as we would love to be able to put this issue aside and ‘deal with it later,’ that is not the case. We all have to take action now as it is our responsibility in keeping our world a safe one to continue living. Future generations are depending on us to make the right decision in finding alternative solutions to how we live throughout our daily lives so we can eliminate the global warming catastrophe.
This matter is so important that it needs to be repeated: Everyone must be involved. This includes the average joe, the filthy rich, the politicians, everybody from across the globe must form a unity to defeat the threat of greenhouse gasses and the assurance that we can defeat this issue before we suffer a major catastrophe.
So where will you fit into all of this? Are you deciding to put this issue off on the back burner and wait until later, or do you want to look at your grandchildren in the many years ahead and tell them that you gave your all to save this planet for them to live on?

According to BusinessWeek.com, bio fuels may cause more harm to the environment than the fuels they are meant to replace. Growing bio-fuel crops may be a bad environmental decision. A group of researchers from the University of Leeds and Voice of Land Trust have truly had concern regarding the use of bio fuel crops.
Below is an excerpt from the Business Week Article:
The group is concerned that large areas of land in the developing world are being cleared to grow crops such as sugar cane and palm oil to service the energy consumption needs of our gas guzzling culture. These crops are being converted to biofuels which ostensibly produce less carbon dioxide than conventional transport fuels. What the scientists have found is that up to nine times as much carbon dioxide will be emitted by biofuels compared to conventional petrol and diesel because biofuel crops are typically grown on land which is burnt and reclaimed from tropical forests.
One of the reasons land is being cleared to make way for these new crops is due to our current land usage being primarily dedicated to the farming of livestock and the growth of crops to feed that livestock, leaving little remaining for alternative energy crops. Unless the whole Western world suddenly develops a severe case of vegetarianism we will not be able to satisfy biofuel demand without clearing more land.
Study co-author Dominick Spracklen of the School of Earth and the Environment at the University of Leeds says that if you are concerned with reducing your carbon emissions then biofuels are not the way to go. “In fact it can have a perverse impact elsewhere in the world. The amount of carbon that is released when you clear forests to make way for the biofuel crop is much more than the amount you get back from growing biofuels over a 30-year period,” said Spracklen.
So it appears that bio-fuel may not be the low-emission answer many had hoped it could be. Unless an alternative is found to sustain the energy of bio-crops to utilize their energy, the environment is put in harms way.
